Day 425 of “15 Days to ‘Flatten the Curve’” – Year 2, Week 8: “Phase Two” Edition

Today marks 14 months since the institution of the infamous “Flatten the Curve,” AKA The Deep State’s Plot to Drive Us Crazy, Make Us Stupid, and Take Over the World (in order to make the world safe for China to take it over).

15 days, they told us, for 15 days/roughly two weeks we need to work from home, close non-essential business, cancel concerts, baby showers, cat shows, etc., yada, yada, you know “the thing” (to show my solidarity with a certain awe-inspiring president) in order to give hospitals a chance to gear up for huge, terrible, overwhelming waves of ‘rona patients.

15 days.

Instead, 15 days has now become 425 days.

We are embarking on the 3rd month of the 2nd year since the Deep State has enacted its plans for the Great Reset.

Now that the lockdowns have fizzled out and even some of the most resistant blue state governors have had to at least establish target dates in the near future to remove some capacity limits and mask mandates, the Deep State has moved onto the next phase of its plans to make life miserable and wear us down so as to make it easier to enslave us.

This phase is economic depression starting with pipeline disruptions.

We all know how pipeline disruptions impact gas prices and the ripple effect this has on the economy in terms of goods costing more because trucking companies have to spend more on gasoline. All part of the plan.

I have a big trip planned to start in less than a month. I plan to drive through several states I have never been to. It is my longest trip, both in terms of miles covered and nights spent in hotels, since I was in high school. It is my first trip of over 600 miles (one-way) I will take in my own vehicle and during which I will do at least half of the driving.

I was not really looking forward to it earlier in the year. It was something I had committed to and had hoped to get out of. But in the last six weeks, as I begin mapping it out and looking up things to do, I really started to get into it and see it as something I might need to do and something that might perk me up and perhaps be transformative.

And now I might be looking at $5 a gallon gas, or worse. Worse being being stuck in MN with no way of getting gas to go further. No offense to anyone from MN. Being stuck anywhere is not something I want.

This was the stupidest thing ever. It told me that these people know NOTHING about disease spread and communication. Anybody with two functioning brain cells knew that this was going to be a multi-year problem.

Minnesota Governor Walz (D-idiot) as we enter month 18 of his two weeks to flatten the curve, promises an end to masks and restriction by July 1. I don’t recall him specifying what year..

sadly, very sadly, some of the very same people from March 2020 advocating passionately to shut the whole country down are still here and there on threads STILL thinking its a great thing....

I've always said from the beginning it was about money....those who wanted total lockdown were fat and happy on their govt pensions and couldn't care less about the rest of the country....

I was thinking of avoiding MN, but this is probably the only chance I will get to go through it for a while, and it is on the way to Fargo.

I’m hoping to have at least one reasonably enjoyable dining experience (in a smaller city) while there.
