Kind of like a spongy English muffin. I was addicted to them for a while. Peanut butter was my go-to topping (as it is with French toast or English muffins). Alas, lots of carbs. Now I put peanut butter on celery.

Lovely, correct picture if a crumpets. Might I suggest a little butter and Robertson’s Lemon Curd or Robertson’s Ginger Shred.
