SMH. CREEPY. Makes me think of the BORG/TRANSHUMAN crap. IIRC, some of the Docs saying that the hydrogel was to sort of help trick the body into accepting the therapy.

yes hydrogel can be manipulated from out side the body using Optogenetics. usually used for monitoring. I don't know what they're doing to be honest.
I've been following this lady who goes over different things can be done with Optogenetics.
