Deaths and cases are plummeting around the US....But there are “troubling variants” and “now is not the time to let down our guard”. We must “protect the vulnerable” because it is the “right thing to do”. There are some Covid “hotspots” in the USA right now and these are “very concerning”.

The above verbal Coronavirus diarrhea is a mixture of the nonsense that comes from the leftist mouths of the media, politicians and bureaucrats. I look forward to the day when politicians throw out the words “freedom” and “liberty” in their speeches. Right now those words are frowned upon. And I don’t even care if they mean it when they use words like “liberty” and “freedom”- I think it is a step in the right direction for them to simply use those words without thinking that they are racist.

There WONT be another lockdown in Texas and many other red states no matter what happens with Indians. What state are you in?

I tend to agree with you...but in this instance,, the current TX Guv supported the original Burrows bill which "legalized" his emergency orders. By my reading, those orders would have obligated Texans to follow CDC guidelines. Why would the Governor do that, unless he wanted a legal mechanism to shut us down again?

Personally, I think he'll be shutting us down again in Nov/Dec, and lots of these medical nutcases will blame those of us who have refused their gene therapy.

Our two sons live in Colorado. We used to enjoy visiting them…not anymore. It’s sad, really, what the lockdowns have done to the economy.
