No sh*t. I saw them lives 11 times. 12th if his head didnt get on fire and Axl didnt turn into an as*hole in Montreal. The next stop was Vancouver and I had tix for that one. Heck, I still have the stub for it because I was too lazy to get the refund from Ticketmaster.

I haven’t listened to Metallica since they made garbage St. Anger album. It was horrible and I never felt like bothering with them again. The tour for that album was great though and was the last time I saw them, in 2003.
I was lucky enough to be the fan club president, so got in one gig free and did translations for the local fans and was asked to do some video recording of the gig the second night. It was fun getting autographs and helping the Japanese fans that didn’t speak English, and hanging out with the band and staff after the gig, but I never bothered to follow the band again due to that crappy album. The old stuff I grew up with in high school is still great, but I have no idea what they did after St. Anger.
