With COVID-19 numbers dropping, officials in the nation’s capital have announced a reopening timeline that would see all indoor capacity limits eliminated by early June, but with mask requirements still in place.
Mayor Muriel Bowser unveiled a two-stage plan on Monday, with capacity restrictions on most indoor activities lifting on May 21, with the exception of bars, nightclubs and entertainment venues. Those final categories would see their capacity limits removed by June 11.

Power tripping, abuse of power, tyranny rule, etc. leading to perpetual ‘we will never return to normal’......all in the name of COVID. Wait for the climate lockdowns to come, bet.
....nope, can’t do that...that would be too much of a step toward “normalcy”....hell; even that fraud Fauci said today that maybe some saner heads should rethink all of the restrictions on having to wear masks indoors (or words to that effect...)... it is all a giant fraud...keep the sheeple in line, one way or another....

Meaningless. It’s just like the python relaxing before it’s next squeeze (hat tip Alex Jones). A slight relaxation lets the pressure off, and then the next squeeze comes.
Fauci already foreshadowed it by saying when the season hits in the fall things need to tighten up again.
And they will always have us in a continual cycle of lockdown and relaxed, and we are supposed to celebrate when they give us a cookie.

I am so looking forward to a night out with friends at the theater and wearing a mask. Why, it will almost be like old times!
I may be completely wrong on this, and people may flock back to indoor events under these restrictions, but I have no desire at all to go out for an evening and pay to breathe through a mask. Or fly on an airplane for 12 hours with one.

Vacationing with masks? No way! Plenty of other places to go rather than deal with mask Nazis

Went to a City Market in Grand Junction, CO today. Mask “requirement” has been dropped but they still have free ones on a stand as you enter. Mask wearers were maybe half the clientele. Employees still have to wear them, but some have creative solutions.
It will be like the TV ratings for the Oscars, or the Golden Globes, or the NFL, or ......
