The Jacksonville Jaguars are planning on signing Tebow to a one-year deal, according to NFL Network, as he plans a comeback as a tight end. Though the ex-quarterback had brief stints with the Patriots and Eagles, Tebow hasn’t played in the NFL since 2012 with the Jets.

“... about him being such a pious boy.”
You sound as if you know him or something. The arrogance of it alll:

He hadn’t hit a baseball since high school. Expecting to pick it back up and make the majors wasn’t realistic. No one has done that, Jordan came the closest but the strike happened and he decided to go back to hoops.
I think he could have gotten interests as a tight end type player a long time ago, but it’s not what he wanted.

And aren't those the same writers that scoffed at Tom Brady moving to the Tampa Bay Bucs?.....LOL!
don’t know where you got that from - guess it shoes where your head is at.
You blindly believe all the crap you read about him being such a pious boy. As most great athletes are—he has a very, very healthy ego. And it’s hurt him.
Pay attention.....
No you responded to my training camp comment - if you were replying to someone else’s comment you shouldn’t have responded to me. That’s how message boards work. Please pay attention.
Having no knowledge of the circumstances, I see this as Urban helping out his old QB with a little cash. But what do I know?
He never was going to make it as a QB in the NFL. He had the heart but lacked basic passing skills. He should have switched to a back or tight end when he was drafted back when.
