Look. I love tigers, they are magnificent creatures, and beautiful.

But it is a damned tiger. In a neighborhood.

First, that guy standing there is a complete ignoramus. He has no idea how fast that tiger could be on top of him. None whatsoever. And he likely has a 9mm or something like that pointed at it.

He should have been in a safe place, or he should have had a safe place accessible for easy access and shot the tiger.

Exactly right. A tiger that size is like a pit bull - very gently, until they're not.

I doubt it's legal to have a big cat like that in a neighborhood like that.

True indeed. The wife and I have a couple of house cats. Docile most of the time but when aroused(or knowing they're going to the vet) their strength, speed and agility never ceases to amaze me. I can only imagine how it increases exponentially in their bigger. Yeah you're right. Big kitty could have been on that guy in a heartbeat.
