Bosch is set to end on Amazon’s Prime Video later this year, but the character of Harry Bosch will live on in a spinoff at the tech giant’s ad-supported streaming service, IMDb TV.
Titus Welliver, Mimi Rogers and Madison Lintz will continue their roles on the spinoff, and much of the Bosch creative team, including series creator Eric Overmyer and author Michael Connelly, is also involved. The untitled spinoff is slated to begin filming later this year; the seventh and final season of Bosch will debut in the summer.
“To say I am ecstatic is an understatement! To be given the opportunity to tell more Harry Bosch stories is a tremendous gift,” said Welliver, who’s also an executive producer of the two series. “The process of shooting season seven with the shadow of it being our final loomed heavily, so when the idea was presented to continue with the possibility of a spinoff, without hesitation I said, ‘Let’s go.’ To all of our Bosch fans, thank you for your incredible support for all these years and I can promise you the ride will only get better.”
The new series will follow Harry Bosch (Welliver) to the next phase of his career, where he finds himself working with his former adversary, attorney Honey “Money” Chandler (Rogers). The two have a deep and complicated history but work on something they can agree on: finding justice. Lintz will continue playing Harry’s daughter, Maddie.

I only watched the first episode of BOSCH for free...It was good...I did not watch the rest of the series because I did not have a Prime membership...
I have read all the Harry Bosch novels...In the last few Bosch novels, Bosch works with a female LAPD detective...Bosch is retired from LAPD...
Mimi Rogers...She is 65 years old...She looked fine when she was younger...I did see her in THE DOOR IN THE FLOOR...
Bosch is great. We’ve seen them all and can’t wait for the next season. We’ll check out the spinoff for sure.
Good show. I thought the earlier seasons were better, but they’re all worth seeing.
“I thought the earlier seasons were better”
Likewise. The first season was so good, it made subsequent seasons not quite as good.
Bosch’s daughter, Maddie, is one of the most annoying characters in TV history. I’ll take a pass.
Bosch is excellent, one of the few “cop” shows that I enjoy.
Love the Bosch series, just wish it was continuing on Prime. I really don’t want/need another streaming service.
In the novels, Maddie is a student at Chapman University...Chapman University is a Christian college in Orange County, CA...
Maddie played a big role in the novel NINE DRAGONS...
By the way, IMDb TV is a free streaming channel...New Bosch series will be on IMDb TV...
This “spinoff” just sounds like the next season. The show is really good, but the books are better (as usual).
I loved Michael Connelly. I own every book he has written. I watched every Bosch episode. That is until his last book. Mickey Haller’s The Law of Innocence. Total Trump Derangement Syndrome. I will never spend a dime on this guy again. Google his political contributions. What a slime ball.
Try Jack Carr. Excellent. Leaned really right then corrected to right center in his politics. I guess he was losing sales. Great stories.
I just started reading THE LAW OF INNOCENCE...OK...I guess that I will find out soon enough...
I did like reading books written by Joseph Wambaugh...He has not written a book in a while...
