Went to a resturant tonight.....
Not one person had a mask on...not the servers or the bartender..
No one...
I told my wife, as soon as I saw DeSantis’ EO, I ain’t wearin’ no stinkin’ mask. She said ‘not in Publix? not the pharmacy? you’re going to get into an argument. just bring it.’ - so I went to Publix. Everyone wearing their mask like fearmongers/robots. I didn’t. No one said anything.
Next day, I went to the pharmacy - little place in Wellington - they all had masks on - and I noticed both there and Publix - no signs on the door - and they said nothing either. Cool. So far so good.
Walked next door - bold and defiant. Walked into Whole Foods (really testing the lib enclave) - sho’ ‘nuf - the big Sista in the front said ‘Sir, Sir - no mask?’ I said “Gov signed EO yesterday...” - Nope, have to wear it to enter. “ ‘What? I didn’t see on door’ “Yes Sir - it’s there” - yeah - stupid Commie Whole Foods required for entry. Such idiots.
This is Palm Beach County. It’s a mixed bag. We shall see.
I guess the gig is up. By 4th of July, Joe Biden will look like an idiot for continuing to wear a mask outdoors.
... or North Carolina.
There is only one business I know of where I am in which I can go maskless. I will buy as much from them as I can.
Good news!
I still see people driving alone wearing a mask; given, it is severe allergy season here in Henderson County, Texas.....but, in your car with windows up? and....I do live very near a big lake and it is populated with Dallasites *weekenders and retirees*
Hell, I got accosted in Walmart the other day by some teenage girl from the pharmacy, asking me if I wanted a COVID shot. NO. Don’t bother me while I’m squeezing the avocados.
P.S. Went through the drive thru at McDonald's.
“I got accosted in Walmart the other day by some teenage girl … Don’t bother me while I’m squeezing the avocados.”

Are you positive those were avocados you were squeezing? ;-)🙀
Watching Phillies-Braves in Atlanta right now. Nearly full stadium, very few masks.
Well, she didn’t slap me in the face and she didn’t follow me home, so I guess it was fruit. Pity. She was cute.
Just another day in Florida as I know it...
Some places in Miami might be different but most places in Florida are maskless.
Thank God for common sense.....
One of my favorite restaurants has had a sign on the door for several weeks that says "We do NOT require masks. You of course are free to wear one if you wish but our staff will not be wearing them. Thank you".
So, what did they do with all the bodies? I mean, everyone says you die if you don’t wear the magic mask.
That’s disgusting...
I have stated a couple of time in responses on FR threads, about some local establishments here in north central Florida being open and not requiring or enforcing mask mandates.
Things have been pretty open and back to normal around where I live for some time now. And now that DeSantis has lifted all the mandates statewide, it will become even more so around the entire state.
I'm afraid the "Mask Cult" will be around for the indefinite future.
While normal people will eventually stop wearing masks if they haven't already, there will always be a certain percentage of the population who have this mask mandate hook caught deep in their throats and will never stop wearing them. It will become a way of life for some forever.
I call it the Fellowship of the Masks Cult. Only the "certifiable" or crazed need apply. They will gain power as another identity politics group. And there will be new hate crimes passed to go after anybody that mocks these loonies.
Count on it.
Went to a spring football game in the south. Almost no masks after wearing through the gate and less as the day went on!
OMG!!! Super Spreader!!! /s
Many Americans are not happy campers, ya think?
Calvert Democrats Condemn Obscene Billboard; Call for its Immediate Removal
SO true! I've seen this myself here in The People's Republik of Connecticut. It's as if those of us in the Blue States are living in the 'ol USSR.
The older generations of Russians and Cuban-Americans remember what it was like to be robbed by The State of their liberty. The younger generations... they have no memories of that, and tend to obey "the government".
