Florida Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis on Thursday morning signed into law a controversial voting bill aimed at curbing access to mail-in voting in the state, joining a host of other GOP-led states pushing new limits in connection with former President Donald Trump's baseless claims of fraud in the 2020 election.
In signing the bill during an appearance on "Fox & Friends," the Florida Republican highlighted provisions of the bill including stricter voter ID requirements for voting by mail, creating limits on who can pick up and return a voter's ballot, and banning private funding for elections.

No bias here.
Wooohoooooo!!!!!
Good grief!! These Commies are brazen, aren’t they?
Does CNN has any clue that the more they write things like “baseless claims of fraud” the *less* half the public believes them? I’m sure when push garbage like that they imagine themselves as scrappy journos speaking truth to power or some such nonsense, but I’m guessing they haven’t the slightest clue that half or more of the population views them like a shameless propaganda organ in the old Soviet Union.
Census-Florida gains a seat or 2. Can redistricting make it 3 or 4?
My brother-in-law and his wife swallow every bit of it whole.
To give you a nice clear example of how liberals think about what they see on the news. Back when the Obama went on television and said he was going to deliberately cause electrical prices to Skyrocket I told my brother-in-law this. He denied that Obama said that. I then showed him the actual footage of Obama saying that. He then said well it doesn’t matter because he didn’t mean it.
Anyone that thinks logic and reason will sway a liberal is deluded. They truly do not care if you can prove they were lied to by their leaders.
CNN calls this bill “restrictive” of voting rights, but is it?
Vox Populi, Vox Dei.
But in order that may be the voice of God, the voice of the people must also reflect the voice of truth.
People who lie on their voting applications should not be allowed to vote. Whether it be of name, of nationality, or of address.
Claims of fraud in the 2020 elections were not baseless, and they were both widespread and of numerous means.
Ballot harvesting of unsolicited mailed ballots was but one of the many schemes employed.
no doubt that was the Communist News Network headline, word for word
ha ha ha!
what basturd propagandists they are
President Donald Trump’s baseless claims of fraud in the 2020 election. ................................ Every time I see that, I am ready to blow up the monitor. If the allegation is made, there should be an investigation. Russia, Russia, Russia!!!! Now it should be Fraud Fraud Fraud! Were is the committee and the 100 lawyers to investigate the allegations.? When did we ever have 50% of the populations voting? We are a little over 300M, and 156M voted? Really?? YGBSM. I don’t care who wins, but if they resort to fraud, even a hint of it, it has to be investigated.
“Restrictive”
The editorializing starts in the bloody headline.
The real question is whether or not the Governor’s action will be enough to cause liberals to stay out of Florida; or to leave if they have already been admitted.
Let’s hope so.
I remember when this wouldn't have been able to make an editorial page in a real media outlet, CNN is cable equivalent of Pravda for the democrats.
Objective as can be.
Need to go back to dumb machines....
>>>in connection with former President Donald Trump’s baseless claims of fraud in the 2020 election.<<<
That’s as far as I got before I quit reading. Then I noted it was from CNN. I gotta start paying more attention before I click on an article to read.
Wording is so important. These should be called “common-sense rules”, or something similar.
Laws don’t matter if they are not enforced.
Let’s hope that Florida strictly enforces these laws during the voting process instead of trying to complain about violations after the fact.
Need to go back to dumb machines....
