According to modern American religiosity, I see nothing wrong with this proclamation.
A large number (approaching a majority) of modern American evangelicals has misplaced their trust in God’s will for mankind into their own work of “prayer”.
They no longer trust that God is in control and needs a little bit of help from us to exact His desires upon the world.
