I will always respect your right not to wear one but IMO, if they are effective for medical personnel they should be almost as effective for me or they aren’t for anybody. My dentist and hygienist were wearing them way before covid and they definitely are not in a sterile environment the way a doctor in surgery is.

You do what you do. I’ll do what I do. Neither of us is wrong unless it’s to say they are 100% effective or 100% not effective.

That’s to prevent swapping spit. I usually don’t get that close to people in public.

I started wearing a mask long before it was mandated...as a nurse for many decades, we wore those paper blue masks for flu isolation....we wore different ones for TB.....

even if the mandate fades away, I'll probably always wear a mask in the casino...too many smokers...

however, I'm not really sure how effective they are....

we have a couple of friends we play cards with...we don't wear masks and with family, no masks....

luckily we're not that social.....:)
