Audiences don’t particularly cares about the character’s outside, they care about the character’s inside.

Hollywood has no original thinkers. Everything is a rehash of the old except with changed genders or races to rewrite the narrative. The consequence is that I have purchased few movies in the last 20 years. I purchased a copy of Equalizer 2 on the merits of my appreciation for Denzel Washington's other movies. I liked it enough to purchase the first one. Dwayne Johnson, Liam Neeson and Gerard Butler have earned purchases for the same reason.

Right, you are. Those black Little Orphan Annies and Hamiltons were soooo not woke. At least The Wiz starred Jackson who was confused on both gender, race and failed at adulting.

Why does there need to be black Superman? Bigger question: why would Superman, a member of an alien race, look even remotely like an earth human?

The last movie I saw in the theater was ‘Black Mass’ - and only because my wife grew up in Quincy(pronounced Quinzee), MA.

“They are already producing a backstory movie just about Cyborg.”
I don’t think that will happen. Ray Fisher, the guy that played him, seems to be persona non grata with Warner Bros. now. He has done a lot of public bellyaching about how some of the creators treated him. Racism, ya know. WB investigated his complaints and concluded they was no substance to his complaints.

He has done a lot of public bellyaching about how some of the creators treated him. Racism, ya know. Then they should make a Cyborg movie and cast a white guy in the role. That would be awesome.

I think this calls for a trilogy: a black Superman, an Asian Black Panther, and the Rock playing Supergirl.

Of course.
Printed on White paper.
Using ‘Colored’ ink for a profit.
And about that ‘printed’; should have been ‘eboniced’.
