At least four people died after a small airplane crashed into a Mississippi home late Tuesday, officials said.
Authorities responded to the crash site about 11:20 p.m. CT at a residence on Annie Christie Drive in Hattiesburg, about 90 miles southwest of Jackson, according to local police.

As always with these things: what was the weather at the time of the crash? IFR? T- Storms? Night VFR with no horizon?
Well, it would have been everyone in the plane. Anyone on the ground or in the house?
A Mitsubishi MU-2B-60 seats up to ten passengers. Crashed at 23:22. Not much fire damage apparent from aircraft wreckage or the destroyed home. That’s a tell—perhaps no remaining fuel? Go to 25 second mark on video.

Pine Belt Regional is about fourteen miles north of Hattiesburg. A small business airstrip is about two miles to the southeast of the crash site. The crash location is in almost perfect alignment with an extended vector from the Bobby Chain Municipal runway.
U.S. 49 is a multi lane Hwy. with a lateral offset of less than one mile to the west, with about a deviation of 15 degree from the runway designation 13. Last time down that stretch, this roadway was unlighted, and heavily traveled.
