The art types use the govt to control possession of antiquities, for their own use. They pretend it’s for the public good. All BS. The Kardashians just don’t belong to the right group of arrogant elitists.

When in Rome, do as the Kardashians do.

For her pix, maybe moochelle’s pix could be used as eyewash...
What an example of “horrific butt-ugliness”...

A good rule of thumb is to not bother with articles in which the word “allege” appears in the title. It typically reflects a poorly researched or poorly written article.

This is really about Kanye West's political activity, imho.

Especially after seeing the thing, I like ancient stuff, but gads, not much there.

Maybe an acrylic upper body could be added, in the likeness of, well, if she ends up with it, probably herself...

Sorry, the glutenous maximus on the statue is not large enough.

It's pretty old, and in pretty bad shape -- I guess this is a different kind of junk in the trunk. So, still works by analogy. :^D

It almost looks like it could have been a poor, early attempt at the “Walking Liberty” model.

I don’t see how there’s enough of that statue left that an expert could draw any definitive conclusions.

US sculpture (and European sculpture) descends from it, but as today, some is better than others. :^)
The Laacoon Group is so good, in recent years one writer has claimed that, rather than just learning from it, Michelangelo sculpted it. If Big Mike had, however, it’s not unlikely he’d have carved in an autography, as he did with his first Pieta.

By “it”, I meant classical sculpture in general, btw, sorry.
