I went to my balcony to film again after hearing there were really huge lava fountains spewing around midnight local time, and lo and behold I caught the 2 biggest ones, filmed around 2am Sunday, May 2nd The footage is a little shaky because of strong wind

So, do the eruptions cause the wind or does the wind cause the eruptions? Climatologists want to know so they can in someway blame glowbull warpage for these activities. You know, the earth is warming causing it to swell and create fissures and stuff. :-} Stay safe.

Impressive. My wife and I have contimpated moving to Hawaii, but the reasobaly priced places always seem to be in areas where lava is likely to burn your house down or worse.
Wow. Beautiful, awe inspiring...and makes me wonder WHY TF ARE PEOPLE STILL THERE!? ;-) Maybe I’m a wuss but I think at that point I’d be on my way somewhere, anywhere else as long as it was a fair distance from anything like that.

The amount of heat escaping from the earth’s core in surface volcanoes, deep ocean volcanoes and innumerable deep ocean “smokers” has much to do with uncontrollable “climate change” and weather patterns. Just what generates the heat and its rate of production at the earth’s core is still scientific speculation and not really known.

I'm not volcanologist but I thought it was the quiet ones that were the killers. The ones that build up pressure over thousands of years. The active ones that constantly ooze magma relieve the pressure and as a consequence are less 'splodey.

Things like this prove beyond doubt the futility of “climate change” policies, laws and arguments.
One average volcano spews more “greenhouse gasses” into the atmosphere than how many automobiles?

If you can film an erupting volcano from your balcony, you’re too close.
There was a spot on the live feed yesterday off one large eruption taking out a drone.
There are some Icelandic vulcanologists speculating that this is just the beginning of a larger scale event that will see several more fracture zones on the peninsula erupting, possibly for years.
There is one one the western edge Reykjavik that has a large subdivision built upon it. If that one goes off the lava flows would threaten the city’s water plant.
