Any idiot will laugh at just about any joke but if an intelligent woman who happens to be a lady finds you to be genuinely humorous, then you should believe that when she tries to match you in that department, you better laugh, and it better be believable!

When courting my wife, I sent her a joke in a letter : “ I have size 13 feet - you know what they say about men who have big feet - they wear big shoes!”
She tells me from that point on - she knew I was good...
