Same here. Rural MO. We locked down for three weeks a little bit later than the cities, some of which are still locked down. We didn’t have one case in this county at the time but St Louis did. In fact, they accounted for almost all cases in the State for months. St Louis is where that radical Soros DA is that locked up the McCloskeys for burnishing firearms when antifa/blm busted showed up in their front yard. She’s known for selectively prosecuting cases based on race. In St Louis, they vote Early & Often. Bunch of lying, criminal leftists.
$13k per case and $39k if they get put on a ventilator. That’s why all the blue leftist cities were clamoring for ventilators.
After our three weeks, we opened back up and a lot of people wore masks. Month by month the masks came off and people were talking to each other well within 6 feet. About 4 months ago the kids went back to school, no masks, no distancing and everyone else was living life as usual aside from people who work where there’s food still wearing masks.
Coming up on 1 1/2 years now and we’ve had 35 deaths attributed to COVID in this county, two of them at the nursing home my wife works at and they both had one foot in the grave. Had they gotten the flu, it would have turned into pneumonia and they would have died. They probably would have died within a year due to one of their other ailments according to my wife and when you’ve worked in a nursing home for almost ten years, you know when someone doesn’t have a lot of time left. You know when they’re down to months or weeks or days.
I’d be willing to bet the other 33 deaths were similar. 85+ with 2-3 comorbidities.
The nursing home the wife works at has had about 35 cases total and only lost those two. These country bumpkins did a fair sight better than NYC because they set up a COVID wing and no one was allowed to cross the barrier unless it was to bring a resident in or out.
We have many thousands of St Louis people come here for weekend recreation. They don’t wear masks, they shop in our stores, eat in our open restaurants. The meat dept in our grocery stores were ravaged and bare every Sunday for a while after the city locusts had swarmed. Meanwhile even though St Louis has many thousands of alleged COVID deaths, it didn’t happen here. It was like COVID was literally trapped in St Louis County for months on the East side of the State and KC on the West side. Looked like an elecion results map.
Most all these big blue city cases and deaths, which probably account for 75%, are all about money and in a handful of States, gross mismanagement and lack of concern for human life.
Cities have become grotesquely evil places. St Louis fought tooth and nail to keep the last remaining abortion clinic after we outlawed them, going so far as to move it to a different building with an indiscreet name. They got caught and moved again, right across the river to Illinois. Does anyone not think that these same type of people would let someone’s grandpa die for $13k or $39k?
The real COVID numbers are probably 20% of what the CDC says. Now compare that 20% to vaccine issues and deaths. Yet some people believe the COVID cases/deaths but refuse to believe vaccine related cases/deaths.
The “round earthers” are fully ready to believe that the vote early and often baby killing commies would never lie or even kill for money(which is what they do with the unborn) and that tens of thousands of vaccine related issues and deaths are mere coincidence.
