Amusing and deeply satisfying, but how does the customer get rid of that gasoline sprayed on his own van?
Maybe Dawn dish soap? Dawn is famous for cleaning the grease from birds caught in oil slicks.

Car wash a couple of times should work. His was all on the
outside where as the van got sprayed both in & out.

Most car washes will remove gasoline easy

Just for the record, Dawn is great for removing oil from birds caught in oil slicks, and it also is great at removing natural oils from birds feathers, rendering them vulnerable to getting waterlogged and sinking. Just another brilliant idea from your nitwit greenie friends.
