I believe yoiu’re right about their name. We haven’t seen many butterflies this year either. I figured it was because of the awful heat we’ve already had. Plus all the plants we had for them died. We need to replant!
Glad you’re seeing hummers. We used to feed them before we had cats. I didn’t want to take a chance on one of the poor little things being caught by one of the cats.
I have a friend who has cats and won’t put up bird feeders in order to protect the birds. Moose is way too slow to catch birds. 😁🐶
