What an interesting old building. We have one I drive by often a mile from here, made of limestone block and 2 stories high. It is trying to remain straight, after at least 150 years, but the roof was not maintained. With a better roof, it might stand for 250 years. The stone fitting skills of the men who built it are amazing.
Old farm houses and barns are so filled with history.
😌
I love broken down old buildings and always wonder what stories they could tell. This one was near the little now-uncorporated village where my aunt lived. We saw a bunch on our drive to the hill country in Texas last weekend, and I wanted to stop and take pictures of all of them...but didn’t have time.
I’ll bet that one you’re describing is amazing. Get pictures. :)
