He is being held at the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center. It was not clear if he had a lawyer who could speak on his behalf.
The sheriff’s office appealed for help in finding another suspect, 18-year-old Treveon Jamar Nelson, who it said is expected to face the same charges upon his arrest, with additional raps likely later.
