I'm getting so old, eventually I'll be minding my own business and get excavated while I'm typing.

Puncture a roll of paper with it and feed it through a player piano.

Yes, the fact that always amazes me is the Cleopatra is closer to us in time than she was to the first pharaohs.
The length of Egypt’s history is hard to grasp for those of us more used to reading the histories of modern nations.

"... Cleopatra is closer to us in time than she was to the first pharaohs." Also sobering is the accelerating pace of technology.
There is much controversy on FreeRepublic concerning the use of mRNA "vaccines". What is probably not controversial is that living cells can be harnessed to make virtually any protein. I don't see any way that this doesn't have enormous consequences for mankind; hopefully, positive consequences.
Note that the time span between the oldest and youngest tombs described in the article is about 1300 years. That's a pretty long time no matter who you are. It's likely that the technology changes during that 1300 years were pretty modest. Clothing, agriculture, weapons, transport, trade? Perhaps very little change in more than a millenium.

And nothing was recorded or no notation were made. All history was passed down word of mouth.

"All history was passed down word of mouth." That would slow down progress.
I find it fascinating that Hero of Alexandria constructed a simple rotating steam powered device. Imagine where we would be today if the steam engine had been perfected two thousand years earlier than it was.

Just wanted to say that the ancient Egyptians were also descended from “Western Asian migrants” aka the Near East. The modern population has more sub-Saharan African genes.
