Josh Duggar, one of the headliners of TLC's titular family reality show 19 Kids and Counting, has been arrested by the Washington County Sheriff's Office in Arkansas.
According to online records, Duggar was booked and placed on a federal hold Thursday afternoon at Washington County Detention Center in Fayetteville. Under charges, it lists only "hold for other dept." No bond is listed.
Duggar co-starred with his large family in 19 Kids and Counting from 2008 to 2015. However, that show was canceled after Josh was accused of having molested underage girls, including several of his sisters, when he was a teenager more than 10 years earlier. He admitted to having done so and apologized, explaining that he'd since spoken to authorities and received counseling. No charges were filed in those cases. Duggar also ended up resigning from his role as a lobbyist for the Family Research Council, which bills itself as "advancing faith, family, and freedom in public policy and the culture from a biblical worldview."

Well he had a used car lot that was raided by the feds a while back. I always said there is a place in Dante’s Inferno for used car salesmen.
He raped someone? I thought he touched them inappropriately, not raping anyone.
According to the Daily Mail it’s a Homeland Security investigation related to a car dealership he owned a few years ago. The family have been expecting the arrest for a while. His wife is pregnant with their seventh child.
He’s been investigated within the past year or so because some sort of financial/ownership issue.
He had some kind of sexual contact with 4 sisters and a cousin. We don’t really know to what extreme, the family down plays it to just “touching through the clothing” but that is how most people do in these things. They try to make it sound like it was the least abrasive sexual contact.
Now I ask you, he was doing this for a while and to many relatives. Do you really think he was mild about it or do you think his acts escalated over time? Come on I know enough about sex abuse to know that he did as much as he could get away with.
Actually I first learned about this on youtube then googled it to see if it was real. This was one of several that came up.

I couldn’t care less about him, he appears to be a scumbag... but I do find it fascinating that so many people here are quick to accept what the feds and the news media accuse him of. If someone rejects their narrative when they go after Trump, but unquestioningly accepts it when they go after someone from the Christian community, there’s something deeply wrong with that person.
So you publicly accuse him of rape based on your imagination. Nice...
You know why this kind of crap you’re doing pisses me off? Because it enables abusers. People like you give them a perfect example to create reasonable doubt in people’s minds, which enables them to continue their predatory behavior and/or to get off easier.
Just stop already! Stick to the supportable facts. They are damning enough! They guy was a scumbag. He committed crimes. Isn’t that enough? Do you really need to muddy the waters by accusing him based on your imaginations?
