Yup, the Supreme Court is part of the deep state. By not hearing the seven cases brought before them in voter fraud, they are effectively condoning illegal behavior. Ditto with not upholding the rule of law on the illegal immigration issue.Mayors and governors subscribing to amnesty/sanctuary should have been arrested and thrown in jail. This crap never ends.

Precisely as I remember it. At least Keyes got him into debates. I doubt anyone was going to beat him as the fix was already in, but the real culprit was Ryan and his stupid sexual proclivities.

Actually Mike Ditka gave Obama the Senate and consequently the White House after his lackluster performance as an Illinois Senator. The Chicago Sun Times as I recall published previously sealed divorce records of Ryan which forced him to drop out. Ditka, in my prior Illinois resident opinion could have crushed Obama had he gone into the neighborhoods of Chicago with his former team members rallying for him but he declined. The Republicans were searching for anyone who would step up to the plate and Alan Keyes took on the Quixotic task. He had no real Illinois connection, no significant name recognition with the general populace of Illinois and Chicago in particular and in that Democrat sewer of Illinois Obama was destined to win against Keyes going away. So posts castigating Amb. Keyes for accepting the role of sacrificial lamb seems rather unfair.
On a second issue .... should the Dems manage to get DC to be a state thereby getting 2 more Senators, Illinois downstaters and westerners beyond the Chicago suburbs should push hard to separate from the Peoples Republic of Chicago and create a separate State where the political machine can not control the electorate and the Republican Party would have a good chance of wining if they can get a fair election (which can no longer be a foregone conclusion.)
