Now because of this slide, I’m having a case of dandelion envy! LOL
I’d have to go out and hunt for some, though. But I do have 5 gallon buckets and lotsa dirt!
Best day to find dandelions is a sunny day after the dew has evaporated. They close up when it's overcast.
If picking just the flower, pluck the yellow petals on the spot by using your thumbnail. Do not save then for later because they wilt instantly.
All neighbors have dandelions and most will allow you to dig up the roots :)
