The law goes into effect on July 1st, and Governor Ron DeSantis signed the bill today in St. Petersburg. In other words, you are free to take whatever precautions you deem personally necessary but all local restrictions are blocked.

Thank you for the warning about the content of the pro-vax/masks PSA’s. I try to avoid indoctrination material for the same reason you cite - it makes me angry because I know people are falling for it. My government has a commercial for wearing your mask “properly” and I change the channel every time it comes on. Sometimes I’m reduced to shouting obscenities at the TV to tune it out and bring the BP down if I can’t find the remote fast enough. I resent that they’ve turned me into a crazy person who yells at the TV. I wasn’t expecting to want to do that for another 25 years.
