Always tell mine that the only place to argue with a LEO is in court. Don’t answer questions but follow directions.
It is foolish and dangerous to accept the idea that at ANY and at ALL times ANY citizen must obey ANY request from ANY law enforcement officer.
In the case of a vehicle stop that may be a valid order for the safety of all involved depending on the circumstances.
But what, if, while passing by you observe, are gawking at Loveland Police officers beating down, err, taking down, err, arresting a dangerous 90lb 73 year old woman, and one of the officers engaged in the activity directs you to stop.(Not like there haven’t been innumerable cases of “You want some of this?”)
Should you be required by law to do so ?
