How exactly does reducing the cycle count of a PCR test reduce the case count?

I think the reduced cycle count makes for a “weaker” result than a longer cycle count which will I.D. smaller amount of anti-bodies.

Weaker result meaning if some small trace of anti-bodies are present, a reduced cycle count won’t find them.
