Just yesterday I had to come to a stop because a millennial was crossing the road, oblivious as a duckling, focused on his phone.

Most people of my generation read at a sixth grade level, and that, I am sure, is not what it used to be. They can’t make change or tell time.

Now, there are plenty of things I don’t know beans about, but only I know what they are. My shoelaces are tied. I know east from west, and how to cross the street safely.

Older generations don’t know how atrociously ignorant their descendants are.

“Older generations don’t know how atrociously ignorant their descendants are.”

I’ve been saying that for a long time. My generation (millennial) is incredibly ignorant. The younger generations even more so. This despite the increase in college attendance, number of Advanced Placement classes, etc. On paper, the younger generations are more educated than ever, but don’t let that fool you.
