My second career was teaching, engineering and computers. I had a lot of fun explaining to students that my generation made a lot of money so their generation could push a button and have a cash register issue the proper change for a $20 bill buying a $12.13 combo meal.

He’s right about this but unfortunately fails to understand that it was people LIKE HIM who mentored and fostered all this idiocy he is now decrying - in today’s youth...

Bite me, Bill. This is on YOU, pal.

“Older generations don’t know how atrociously ignorant their descendants are.”

I’ve been saying that for a long time. My generation (millennial) is incredibly ignorant. The younger generations even more so. This despite the increase in college attendance, number of Advanced Placement classes, etc. On paper, the younger generations are more educated than ever, but don’t let that fool you.

He is right about everything in this video. But we have to ask ourselves “how did they get this way?”. We need to identify and call out the teachers and institutions that fed them this crap and demand that they stop it. We especially need parents to be engaged and inform themselves about how their kids are being brainwashed.

Interesting how they still want to try Communist Socialism after 100 years of constant failure. “WE’LL do it right the next time!”

Notice no one ever says they want to do Nationalist Socialism over again. Once was enough for that!

Communist Socialism and Nationalist Socialism are both the bastard sons of Hegel, by different philosophical mothers.

“I say, Trump and all you non-establishment Republicans, lets go ahead and go forward to promise and give student loan forgiveness.”

Total lifetime debt burdens are far lower today than when I had a 12% mortgage, or should I say, it had me.

“loan forgiveness”

Who do you think holds most of the 30-year ~3% mortgages?

I suspect the Federal Reserve.

Any student loan forgiveness will be followed by demands for mortgage forgiveness when the next housing recession arrives.

“If you are employed by a U.S. federal, state, local, or tribal government or not-for-profit organization, you might be eligible for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program.”

https://studentaid.gov/manage-loans/forgiveness-cancellation/public-service

“To qualify for PSLF, you must

“be employed by a U.S. federal, state, local, or tribal government or not-for-profit organization;

“work full-time for that agency or organization;

“have Direct Loans (or consolidate other federal student loans into a Direct Loan);

“repay your loans under an income-driven repayment plan; and

“make 120 qualifying payments.”

“Any loan received under the William D. Ford Federal Direct Loan (Direct Loan) Program qualifies for PSLF.

“Loans from these federal student loan programs don’t qualify for PSLF: the Federal Family Education Loan (FFEL) Program and the Federal Perkins Loan (Perkins Loan) Program. However, they may become eligible if you consolidate them into a Direct Consolidation Loan.

“Student loans from private lenders do not qualify for PSLF.

“If you consolidate your loans, only qualifying payments that you make on the new Direct Consolidation Loan can be counted toward the 120 payments required for PSLF. Any payments you made on the loans before you consolidated them don’t count.

Agreed, this generation and the last are proving “Idiocracy” wasn’t a comedy at all but instead a “Docu-movie” on the dumbing down of America what the future has in store...

people have the basic choice to think or not to think. Those who do not choose to think become emotionalists or social metaphysicians and are clueless, stuck on stupid and can’t handle the truth

This is the same thing as James Carville going against wokeness.

These are attempts to reign in the radical because they know it spells their doom.

Why our 18 to 35 year old's are want communism

Like I have said to younger people, there is a thing called the 20th century. In that century, communism has killed over 100 million of their own people and spread misery to multiple times more than that. Tens of millions of those were starved to death. Why would you want to invite that tyranny into our lives?

Why the apostrophe?

The original text had the apostrophe, which I attempted to mark as "wrong."

If you look closely, you will see that I colored the "bad" text RED. I also attempted to STRIKE it out - including the apostrophe. However, since the apostrophe is elevated, the bar does not pass through it.

Why the apostrophe?

Because it's the crux of the biscuit.

These are attempts to reign in the radical because they know it spells their doom.

To "rein in" = to apply reins (as with a horse).

To "reign" = to rule (< regnum < rex = king).
