Buddhism and Taoism are full of that. They’re not the sophisticated philosophies the liberals made them out to be since the hippie days.
It is called Fung Shui. A type of Geomancy.
The HK/Singaporean author Nury Vittachi wrote a really funny, very non PC series of books called “The Fung Shui Detective,” which absolutely skewered the belief. FUng Shui generally makes Astrology look good.
