As long as the fast food industry is not allowed to let the market determine their own labor costs via P&L you will be seeing more of these robot/droids used to replace soaring human labor costs. It’s really just that simple.
Want someone to blame then blame the unqualified politicians that are constantly mandating that these corporations pay their labor artificially higher wages without a corresponding increase in the labors productivity.

I’ve wondered on occasion exactly what’s gonna happen when masses of robots take over most of the jobs. It can’t be just rich getting richer, but since robots are unpaid, companies and corporations will have to be taxed to pay for UBI. I know that sounds horribly communistic, but what else could we do?
We have to work to get paid, but if we simply CANNOT work, what else? I’m 36 years old and the way things are going I can see it happening in my lifetime.
