In other news, small cars have come a long way on safety. Perp was only one wearing seatbelt and had minor injuries. Considering the appearance of the car, that’s darn good.
My daughter owned an Elantra. She had an older woman come out directly in front of her in a 55 MPH zone. Daughter’s car rolled 5 times. Severely lacerated arm from the window glass breaking was her only injury. Those things are not what I would buy but I’d swear by their safety in engineering any day of the week.
