I've observed "Now Hiring" signs all over Pocatello. I suspect the generous federal "benefits" are behind the proliferation of signs. My wife and I went to a favorite restaurant in Idaho Falls 10 days ago. The front door had a sign stating, "Hiring Servers and Cooks". The place was packed. There was ONE server. The usual 40 minute visit from order to ready to pay the bill turned into over 90 minutes. The food quality was still great, but the speed of service was abysmal.
