It might have been AOC trying to make a nighttime landing on the Sun.

“...with astronauts on board told to buckle up and prepare for a crash, Nasa has revealed...”

LOL — I’m fairly certain that the astronauts on board are ALWAYS buckled up during launch. Maybe there’s additional buckling up capabilities available?

Never mind... this was after they were already in orbit.

Something isn’t right about the article. I thought when headed to the station, the astronauts already are wearing their pressurized suits.

I think the “powers that be” are preparing us for our next lock-down. Aliens!

It was seven hours into the flight, so they were in orbit already. They ended up coming within 45 kilometers of the object.

I remember that commercial and many before.
To: White Lives Matter
No they typically put on dockers several hours before docking. Seriously.

And “The Sun” has the wrong rocket/”spaceship” in the headline and 1st line of story...it was a Falcon 9 with a Crew Dragon (Endeavor) at the top. Starship SN-12 is on the ground in Texas.

No time for an avoidance maneuver, but enough time to put on their pressure suits? I’m skeptical of the whole story.

It’s probably the flag the astronauts were supposed to leave on Mars. They probably lost it because the Mars rover can’t find it even with a helicopter.

"Starship"??? No, Starship is still undergoing testing at Boca Chica.. The manned launch was the Falcon Crew-2 Dragon with 4 aboard.
Of all countries, Russia would be MOST interested in ending SpaceX crew launches because formerly they (Russia) were who we turned to to get our astronauts aboard the ISS.
Stay tuned.. StarShip SN-15 possibly will launch this week!
