cars are deadly weapons especially in the hands of the idiots...
could it not be reasonable to not permit someone with a vehicle manslaughter charge or pending one, not drive until its resolved?

The article said she didn’t have a driving license.
Maybe we need to register all cars and do a BI when someone tries to buy one.

She was also arrested in 2020 but the article does not say what for.

could it not be reasonable to not permit someone with a vehicle manslaughter charge or pending one, not drive until its resolved? She has already demonstrated that she is willing to drive without a license:
"Carvajal served time in prison after she ran a red light and struck and killed a 52-year-old driver in Plant City in 2014. Carvajal, who was 16 at the time of the crash, was arrested for DUI manslaughter and driving without a valid license, according to reports."

111 on I-4, what’s the big deal?
She was only ~15mph over the speed most people drive on that road.

I don’t think I’ve ever pushed Hyundai Sonata over 70 MPH. But it’s a great car.

Yeah those Hyundais are known to achieve escape velocity right around the time you hang a right at 100 mph+. And what of her genius passengers? If they had even the vaguest idea of her history, that they would have voluntarily gotten in the car with her after she’d been drinking is mind blowing. Even if they were completely ignorant, remaining unbelted like the rear passengers were is just terminal stupid. Maybe the frontpassenger was belted and the seat just collapsed.
With her history , in CA this little escapade would earn her a few years in jail (local time,
Probably not prison.) in FL, well, it’s FL, so who knows.

Sentence her to hard labor to earn her food and water and oxygen.

Time to lock her up for a long time and keep the roads a lot safer.
