Whenever I see a post that claims the virus causing COVID-19 hasn’t been isolated I significantly reduce my confidence on any claimed or referenced research results or medical recommendations.

To each their own.

This is what she's complaining about. The Moderna test with monkeys was very successful, and the monkeys are fine. The angst about the issue doesn't make sense to me. It is what it is. Follow the link. It's a quick and easy read.

Moderna Announces Publication in The New England Journal of Medicine of Non-Human Primate Preclinical Viral Challenge Study of its mRNA Vaccine Against COVID-19 (mRNA-1273)
Moderna
July 28, 2020 at 3:23 PM EDT

[Excerpt:]
"mRNA-1273 induced robust neutralizing antibodies and dose dependent increases in T cell responses

mRNA-1273 led to protection against SARS-CoV-2 infection in the lungs and nose of non-human primates

No evidence of vaccine-associated enhanced disease (VAERD) observed"

Tough claim to back up considering there’s both transmission and scanning electron microscopy directly imaging the SARS-CoV-2 virus.

To say nothing of the fact that we have the complete genetic code, which provides every protein, every amino acid for the entire virus. But hey, some people claim that birds aren’t real (they’re actually government drones used to spy on us).

Also of interest in regards to the monkeys in the test (8 in the 100 µg group, 8 in the placebo group, don't know how many in the 10µg group),...

"Two doses of mRNA-1273 provided protection against lung inflammation following viral challenge with SARS-CoV-2 in non-human primates at both the 10 µg and 100 µg dose levels. In addition, both the 10 µg and 100 µg dose groups demonstrated protection against viral replication in the lungs, with the 100 µg dose also protecting against viral replication in the nose of the animals. Of note, none of the eight animals in the 100 µg group showed detectable viral replication in the nose compared to six out of eight in the placebo group on day 2.

'This important preclinical study shows that mRNA-1273 protected against a high dose SARS-CoV-2 infection in non-human primates and prevented pulmonary disease in all animals, further supporting the clinical advancement of mRNA-1273,' said Stephen Hoge, M.D., President at Moderna."

"Do you share the belief that fighting infectious disease caused human overpopulation?"

I've wondered about that but haven't had time to look into it.

like liberals the anti vaxers are far more interested in drama than truth. They also like liberals post refuted lies again and again thinking this will make them true....or at least get someone to believe them

And on the mention of overpopulation, have a look at the bar graphs behind the link below. Notice the groups that might be a little more inhibited and/or apathetic about being vaccinated. You’ve probably already seen enormous amounts of information about this, but it might be interesting at a glance anyway.

Demographic Characteristics of People Receiving COVID-19 Vaccinations in the United States

As you know, though, the propaganda from conspiracy theorists won’t make any noticeable difference in the gestalt.

It’s interesting that I was accused of spreading lies and making things up when I implied or out right said some of the most idiotic information was being spread via Facebook and Twitter........

Then when Facebook began removing groups with 10s of thousands of members that were spreading and feeding the vaccine conspiracies, the uproar was loud and angry.
Guess I was right.

Although Facebook should not have a right to censor even nutcases, they did.

Glad I left Facebook in Oct. anyway.

You need to be banned from here due to your controversial and adversarial position on THE “vaccines”! ;-)

Exactly.

I can understand people being nervous, that is a natural reaction to uncertainty (particularly when coup,Ed with ignorance of probabilities).

What just won’t fly with me are claim that are just flat out wrong - like COVID doesn’t exist. As you noted - that’s just ignorant.

Thanks, that is interesting.

I do not see anything that stands out in the way of demographics and vaccine distribution until I get to the bottom charts, the number of men vs. women who are vaccinated. That's where I notice that more women than men are vaccinated. Yet men are more likely to suffer long-term disabilities or death from Covid-19. I wonder, is this related to the general reluctance of men to seek medical attention?

If I would leave matters up to my husband, he would never have a check-up or get a vaccine. I scheduled his Covid-19 shot and went with him to the vaccination site (so we could go shopping after). On his own, he wouldn't have made that appointment. We're getting our 2nd doses this week.

Probably, along with lack of employment that includes insurance. Even Obamacare excludes workers below an income threshold. Many of the men in my mostly rural area work for small, non-government-funded, cheap employers with few employees.

But yes, there's a reluctance in some insured men to get medical help. ...maybe many of them men who watched television shows like "Home Improvement" from suburban houses during the '90s? ;)
[Haven't watched TV for a long time, so my knowledge of TV shows is dated.]

Funny. I was chatting with a man in a campground. He was from a city in the northern Midwest (middle of the Midwest here). I described to him, the design for a small, efficient house that my daughter will be building (with her own hands) along with me. I helped her design it from the building codes perspective. She drafted it. The man from the north exclaimed, "Ha, ha! That's a man cave! It's a ma-a-a-n cave!" I asked him, "What's a man cave?"
