And on the mention of overpopulation, have a look at the bar graphs behind the link below.

Thanks, that is interesting.

I do not see anything that stands out in the way of demographics and vaccine distribution until I get to the bottom charts, the number of men vs. women who are vaccinated. That's where I notice that more women than men are vaccinated. Yet men are more likely to suffer long-term disabilities or death from Covid-19. I wonder, is this related to the general reluctance of men to seek medical attention?

If I would leave matters up to my husband, he would never have a check-up or get a vaccine. I scheduled his Covid-19 shot and went with him to the vaccination site (so we could go shopping after). On his own, he wouldn't have made that appointment. We're getting our 2nd doses this week.

Probably, along with lack of employment that includes insurance. Even Obamacare excludes workers below an income threshold. Many of the men in my mostly rural area work for small, non-government-funded, cheap employers with few employees.

But yes, there's a reluctance in some insured men to get medical help. ...maybe many of them men who watched television shows like "Home Improvement" from suburban houses during the '90s? ;)
[Haven't watched TV for a long time, so my knowledge of TV shows is dated.]

Funny. I was chatting with a man in a campground. He was from a city in the northern Midwest (middle of the Midwest here). I described to him, the design for a small, efficient house that my daughter will be building (with her own hands) along with me. I helped her design it from the building codes perspective. She drafted it. The man from the north exclaimed, "Ha, ha! That's a man cave! It's a ma-a-a-n cave!" I asked him, "What's a man cave?"
