Cases downward, New Hospitalizations down slightly on this report. 860 New Deaths reported (flat).
The seven-day average for cases seems to have clearly turned downward.
Cases are spiking up in the hospital I work at here in NW Ohio but still totally manageable. Seems like the Detroit and Detroit metro area is still getting hammered and we’re real close to that here where I live and work.
Way down here in Cali. 400 total COVID ICU patients in a state of 40M people, an average of 1 per reporting facility. Even with sick illegals and expats flowing in from Mexico.
Why do you think that is?
Almost 2000 people die in the U.S. each day of heart disease.
And for the most part this is controlled by our diets.
What do we focus on?
Something that is 99.85% survivable.
The people that keep pushing this fear porn should serve time.
Probably many factors. Possibly more people getting outdoors. CA was never hit really hard, and we are ranked 31st in deaths. Better than TX, FL and SD, the states everyone brags about. We had a very mild winter and not much rain, so folks are getting out. It’s been nice, as I’ve been doing a lot of camping through winter and spring, even up over 6,000 feet. CA is also more fit than most states and has one of the lowest median ages.
California is also one of the more vaccinated states (scroll down a little behind the link).

“Cases are spiking up in the hospital I work at”
Notice anything different?
Age, ethnicity, severity, variants, previously vaccinated, etc.?
Cases & deaths are even lower in Israel, which has the best vaccination percentage in the world.
they must’ve kept their border with mexico closed...
