Two deaths in my family.
The worst was my younger cousin. He got a “mild” case in the middle of December 2020. It took him until the first week of March to die. After he went downhill he was on a ventilator for a month, then they pulled it when it was determined there was no chance for recovery. Sadly, he continued to breathe for a week on his own before he finally died.
People who are saying this isn’t dangerous and a horrible disease are full of crap.
I am sorry for your loss.
We buried 11 in our tiny community last year.
Two were terminal cancer.
The other 9 were medical malpractice.
“Two deaths in my family.”
I’m so sorry for your loss. I had it myself in March of last year and it lasted for nearly 3 weeks. It literally felt like an elephant was parked on my chest.
I know three people who died from Covid, one was in her 70’s with COPD. The other in their 40’s, but morbidly obese and high blood pressure. The last was my mother, a 74 year old life long smoker who died on a ventilator, telling me, “Son, I can’t breathe.”
This disease, while fantastically transmittable, affects those with comorbities, however most who show symptoms can muscle through.
I made no suggestion that it was not dangerous, but the survivability of Covid is better than some annual flu strains.
Most people who have tested positive for Covid have zero symptoms, or very mild symptoms.
You do realize that venting people is what killed many of them, don’t you?
Yep. The truth has always been that it is in between “it’s going to kill us all!”, and “It’s just the flu”. It’s a serious disease, but not worthy of the hysteria nor killing our nation.

It is only dangerous to people with a weak immune system. Strengthen the immune system, and cv19 is not a problem. Raising vitamin D and vitamin C blood levels is a start. Getting sufficient A and B vitamins helps. Getting sufficient zinc and iodine is critical.
People are dying needlessly because there is little nutritional support and almost no approved early/home stage therapeutics.
Some of us are trying to get the word out, because the conventional medical professionals have abdicated their responsibility in this area.
