Two more from the Storm Rider, from one from last night and next from half hour ago. I tried to find current photo of DC cherry trees but unable to, as of April 12 there were still trees in flower, but peak was supposedly a coupl weeks before. Maybe someone else can determine that, also if the photos of Lin in the WH were shopped.

Maybe someone else can determine that, also if the photos of Lin in the WH were shopped.The trees in those photos look like magnolias to me, not cherry trees. I'm not sure when they were in bloom in DC or if they still are. DC is in gardening zone 7A.
I am in central Missouri, zone 6A and our magnolias have been in bloom for more than a week and are still in bloom. Finding out when the magnolias were in bloom might help in dating those pictures.

Our cherry trees in NE Ohio (further north than DC) were done about 1-2 weeks ago depending on the type of tree and tree situation (shadow, northern orientation, etc).
DC I believe has longer lasting trees but they typically start bloom in mid-late March and definitely should be done by now.
