I am sending this notification as an opportunity for any parent or student (16 or older) to schedule a Covid-19 vaccination if so desired. This is a voluntary opportunity for those individuals who want to be vaccinated. At this time, there has been no mandate for students or adults to receive a Covid-19 vaccination to attend school or school related functions. Receipt of the vaccination is currently a personal and individual choice (I have not heard any rumblings otherwise). Does anyone know of a list of conditions for which getting the vax is contraindicated?
What should be of concern to people, in addition to many of the other concerns, are all the conditions a person might not know they have because they developed since their last physical or because the conditions would require some non-ordinary lab test to pick up.
There are certain things, as I understand it, such as certain thyroid conditions, that are not picked up on standard blood tests and would require a specific kind of test to be ordered.
