India heretofore had been relatively spared from COVID. It would seem that mutant variant has evolved or has been introduced. It is causing havoc. If so, are the vaccines effective against it. Wonder if the Wuhan lab is still in business. India and China are not exactly friends.
It doesn't make sense because Florida and Arizona's numbers are looking under control and we have almost no restrictions.
It almost makes you think it's something else, intentional sabotage or a different virus altogether.

Prime Minister Modi stepped up and supplied the US with a billion doses of hydroxychloroquine. We surely have some oxygen and other medical supplies to help them with.

COVID bump for later....
For months, India was claiming they had very little illness and now they’re exploding with it. Fun with numbers, again.
From what I have read low o2 levels are a common reason why COVID patients need the ICU. THe problem is that many do not have typical symptoms of low o2 and it is not discovered until other symptoms send them to seek medical care. One protocol for treating/monitoring for COVID suggested the use of home o2 meters for high risk populations or those who suspected they had been exposed. This would allow for faster treatment, especially if home o2 tanks are available. Therefore avoiding it reaching a crisis and requiring ICU admittance.
