NY Man Cuffed After Posting on Dating App That He Did ‘Storm the Capitol' During Riot

Another New York man was arrested for his alleged role in the siege at the U.S. Capitol in January after law enforcement learned that he talked about storming the building on social media and a dating app, according to prosecutors.

The FBI arrested Robert Chapman, from the Putnam County town of Carmel, was Thursday in connection with the events of Jan. 6 in Washington, D.C. He is charged with trespassing and disorderly conduct on restricted government property.

Never been there, but I’ve been told it’s a wonderful place to kick back and enjoy its weather and its natural beauty. I’m always a bit apprehensive about vacationing in places where the indigenous population might suddenly go bananas and start swinging machetes at the foreigners. Haven’t heard Costa Rica is one of those places though, so I’ll have to check it out.
