As one who holds a variety of Cyber Currencies I am HOLDING rather than panic sell for significant losses over the past 24 hours I have been buying as the prices drop bit the price keeps dropping. What say you ?
(Excerpt) Read more at google.com ...
“...I only had about $40 on Coinbase and it turned into $27 at which point I converted my Ethereum into Dai... which means that Ethereum will probably skyrocket to never before seen highs very soon. I know this because I can make it rain by leaving my car windows rolled down....”
LOL....
You should go to Vegas and have your wife, better half, buddy, etc. just bet opposite of what you’d bet one. I thought I was the only one that had that kind of “touch”. Some have the “golden touch”. I have the “crap touch”.
I only have about $500 in crypto, but it’s all in Eurtherum. I don’t plan on touching it for now.
Now just DHLO on there! (I like to alphabetize my allcaps. I have CDO.)
Now this here BCT is important stuff! If a BLGO says to DHLO, then by God, I'm going to DHLO!
Of course, I don't know how you would DHLO this here BCT, but I have plenty of CFJO left from when it went way up some years back and I was able to buy it on sale at Kroger. I tried to sell it back when the price went up they weren't having it so I started my own BLGO and I said "BUY!" but no one would listen and they all decided to DHLO instead, but at least I can drink my CFJO since I only bought enough to fill the freezer. What were we talking about now?
Oh, I don't know about that... seemed good enough to memorialize a murdered POTUS.
as of 2008 I’ve put ALL my investments into physical metals. Half in gold and silver and the other half in lead and brass....
I had a 'friend' from Boston that went into the brokerage business in the late 70s and based on his "inside knowledge" I bought $80 K worth of that crap "Global Crossing" and watched it go in the dumpster.
When it got down to single digits he recommended I sell, but I was flying high with some other real brokers, and I opted to take it all the way down and take the write off.
I never used a "friend" as a broker after that, it clouds your judgment.
Terry Mac was/is a crooked demonRAT and has made millions using his Clinton connections, including that fake car company he owned.
Bitcoin will eventually find a stable price level and will stop these wild swings. I suspect that stable price will be significantly higher than today’s levels. If you bought it at a much lower price than today’s, just leave it alone.
I say your link that runs through google, the data harvesting king, sucks.

I only had a $250 investment. It turned into $470 and then I saw the inner tube popping out the side of one of my rear tractor tire that had cracked and split so I pulled $300 out of crypto to buy tires. That left me with $170 which is now $120.
Pulled the $300 when things were at a high and two days after I pulled it, crypto started it's drop. Dumb luck/good timing. Sucks to see it drop but I'm hodling and hoping to buy more in this dip.
Always hodl if you can and buy more in the dips.
And imho, your chosen asset doesn't matter all that much because they all peg right along with Bitcoin. Just pick a solid project that will be around in 6 months or 6 years.
Here's 90 days with Bitcoin in orange and an alt coin in blue. Alt coin is at $1.10 while BTC is $49,163.00 but they trend the same basically.
Are you posting from an Android device? Why do all your links run through google.com/amp? AMP is Accelerated Mobile Page so I’m guessing it’s an android device you’re posting from. You CAN edit the link and remove the googly crap.
Can even remove that second AMP part so the page isn’t phone width.

I have my teenie investment sitting at coinbase and just converted my two alt coins to USDC. Stable and pegged to the USD. When I see things start to trend upwards again, I’ll swap back to my alt coins. Converting from one to another on coinbase is free.
People who bought several Bitcoin when it first came out made enough to put their kids through college. In 2011, a bitcoin cost $0.30 and a couple of months ago it was $65,000.00. People who bought a few hundred dollars worth in 2011 could buy or build a college today
But yes, it's very volatile and you should only invest what you can afford to lose.
“Perhaps it is the 21st Century’s electronic equivalent of the Tulip Craze of the 1600’s”
Except when that bubble popped you still had some tulip bulbs (if you wanted them).
Back up at 2342 after dropping to 2150 last night.
Bitcoin is beanie babies
While these markets are manipulated, IMO they will soon lose control. The zombies are awakening, thanks to the $-trillion bills by Congress:
Good time to resurrect this thread, it’s been a few days.
BTC is in freefall, from 63k a week ago to 47k today
Bemused, I stand aside and watch. I'll stick with the hard stuff.
Update on this thread due to being suspended for posting this in Breaking News.
I certainly defer to the admins on FR to remove content from the sidebar that FR seems “not breaking news”. When multiple media sources started reporting that BTC was in free fall I started to BUY BUY BUY as the sell off continued I started to get nervous and thought FR would consider the double digit downward spiral was breaking news.
I resisted the temptation to SELL at significant loss and now I am sitting quite nicely and cashed in some of the short term gains from my decision to BUY BUY BUY during the sell off.
Just curious if others did the same
