Is that supposed to be a serving tray of food for everybody?
Maybe it would work, but I know people who want all their food items separated, with nothing touching the other item.

Then, she pours a ‘generous’ amount of sweet/sour sauce over some Niblets. Again, perhaps that works fine for her group, or no one wants to upset the cook by saying anything.
Many folks want their sauces or syrups in one spot or in a small cup, so they can decide where it goes.

I would pass eating and leave early and get a ham sandwich. Let her have it all.

Alternative approach is to spread motor oil on top of it.

“no one wants to upset the cook by saying anything.”

It is carryout. She is not the cook.
