Six minutes; finally got the first word by letter placement (letters 1,3); then trial and error got me the rest of the way.
I’m glad and heartened by this optimistic statement. The author is not familiar to me though.

Tried again, but this time I used the letter pattern to guess the 4th word, too, and then it became easy.

2 min after restart.
