The cops will strike alright, and will do so by giving black criminals a total pass and looking the other way, while going after easy targets like white folk.

Bet the rent.

“Does this mean we can speed?”

Maybe, but all fishing bag limits and size restrictions are still in place.

The fool smiling while kneeling on a man’s throat isn’t the hill to die on. How about not enforcing any COVID measures?

Watch the reverse bodycam angle. His knee was on his shoulder blade. It wasnt anywhere restricting his breathing or his neck!

I don’t know if striking would garner support. But I could get behind a stand-down posture for ALL protection details of leftist politicians.

Turn Black Communities into Muzzie No Go Zones. At least it would get rid of the liquor, drugs and prostitution.

Being a cop nowadays in a big city, the one’s where half the population wants to attack and kill them, must be getting tiresome for the rank and file.

Like working on a tight wire with no net everyday.

You know that it is one thing to say what should have been done when one is not there and experiencing the situation in person.

George Floyd was a 7 time loser. He was involved in several armed robberies.

He had 3 times the lethal dose of fentanyl in his system. That drug tends to paralyze the breathing. of which he complained about long before the knee incident. From which he didn't die, but from the drug overdose.

He was a big guy. His arms were massive so he was extremely strong which was enhanced by the influence of the drugs.

And, he died in the hospital, long after the arrest. Plus, the officers called for EMts but it took quite long for them to arrive.

Butnwho would have protected the vermin like Maxine Waters and Ilhan Omar if not for heavily armed cops.

Cops should quit. But they will serve their masters for their crumbs.

A general slowdown might be likely in some big cities. They’ll be more likely to get to scenes of incidents just in time to listen, be sensitive and get information for reports instead of running to the action. ;)

I did not say Chauvin should have been convicted. Actually the opposite.

I should have made my earlier statement conditional with the word “if”.

“If” Chauvin needed to be punished, there are other ways to do it.

You have not mentioned anything that I have not known since early on.

I actually hung a jury once for exactly the same reasons involved in this case, although it did not involve a cop accused of murder.

I would have hung this jury for the same reason.

And Chauvin did make one major mistake that cost him his freedom. He did not let up on Floyd when it was obvious Floyd was through resisting.

Whether in a bar fight or war, there is a point where the enemy is defeated. At that point you quit any aggressive action.

The point is that he didn't need to be punished. He followed procedure. And, if you looked at the whole video, Floyd was still resisting. He wouldn't give then his arm or hand.

You keep saying there are other ways to punish Chauvin.

What other ways?

If you look closely at what is happening to our Country, it is 'Animal House' in reality.

Our cities have been burned and looted. Police are being harassed to the point that many are quitting. Who would want that aggravation?

Homeless camps filled with druggies, mentally disturbed, criminals and so on. Many of these camps are where school children have to walk ba and through to get to school.

And, all of this is condoned by our elected officials from the top down to the bottom.

I hoped I would not see this in my lifetime, but here it is. And, we the citizens are to blame. Period.
